I think everyone loves a good milkshake, although each café or restaurant has its own version. However, despite these variations, it is one of the most loved beverages around the world.
The Milkshake can also be classified as comfort food because of how happy and satisfied it makes you feel whilst and after drinking it.

Treasures of Colombia: Milkshake – Malteada (Colombian Street Food)
By Stacey-Ann Smith
If you are an ice cream lover then you will definitely appreciate all the different flavors that can go into a milkshake.
One of my favorite parts of the Milkshake is the special ingredients that can be added, for example:
- Brownie
- Chantilly Cream
- Oreo
- Strawberry
- Cherry
- Sprinkles
- Skittles
And many more, you can also create your own special touch to your milkshake. But of course, my favorite addition or topping is the brownie.
Here in Colombia POPSY is a popular ice cream shop (heladeria) that specializes in Brownie Milkshakes and really good quality ice cream.
So treat yourself every now and again with a creamy, chocolaty or strawberry Milkshake…with huge chunks of gooey, sticky brownie of course!
